I’m obsessed with the musical duo “She & Him.” I am sure most of you know who Zooey Deschanel is. She is the precious heroin of (500) Days of Summer, Yes Man, the TV series; New Girl and of course the original classic, Elf. Well, anyone remember her in Elf? This was her first major role in a successful film. And she had BLONDE hair! Anyway, she has some singing scenes in that movie and I just love her voice. I don’t know what it is about it but it just makes me happy. It isn’t the typical, beautiful opera voice or anything like that, and it is not a twangy, country music voice, but there is something about it.

Well, “She & Him” is an American indie duo consisting of Zooey Deschanel (vocals, piano, ukulele) and M. Ward (guitar, production) and like I said, I’m obsessed. Their music just makes me feel good.

P.S. You should hear their Christmas album too. It’s pretty awesome.
