It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas….

Ok, Thanksgiving is over. We can start celebrating Christmas now. But seriously, I am all for starting the celebrating early, just not before Thanksgiving gets all its glory. See it is still November and my apartment is all Christmas-ified. We are finished decorating and I love having my own place to decorate!

Here are a few pictures…

Our first tree. Before the decorations

The tree after decorations!

In between the 2 pictures above we had a couple frustrations but nothing the Maugeri’s can’t overcome!

We have decided that we are going to start collecting Santa hats. All kinds. We now have 7 hung all over our living room.
Two hats. One says Merry Christmas

There’s a Santa hat on the TV… And there’s a nutcracker
Two more hats. These have sparkly sequins! And a winter scene that my Nana and Pappy made. I am so glad they let me take this- it is one of my favorite things they make. And yes, in the mirror you can see that I am wearing a Santa Clause robe..
A teddy bear holding mistletoe and a Santa rolling pin that my Nana and Pappy made
Our fridge is a snowman. Be jealous!
I tried to recreate a wreath I found on Pinterest. I think it turned out OK considering pretty much everything was from the dollar store.
Our “His” and “Hers” stockings. I love them! So gad we found them!
Have I mentioned that I LOVE decorating my own apartment? We have had so much fun and I love Christmas time! Christmas music has now been on basically non-stop in our home and cars. We watched Charlie Brown Christmas last night. It truly is “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and I can’t wait to have our first Christmas as a married couple!
