Friday 5: Favorite Things From September

Friday 5: Favorite Things From September

Well, there’s less than a week left of September and it’s official; this year is going way too fast. BUT it’s almost October! My favorite month of the year! While I’m super excited about next month, let’s talk about this month and all my favorite things from September!

e.l.f. Studio HD Mattifying Cream Foundation – I love this stuff! I’ve never used cream foundation before and I love how it has good coverage but still feels light weight. It’s only $6 so it’s totally worth it!

e.l.f Studio Stipple Brush – I’ve always known e.l.f. has great brushes for the price! So I ordered the stipple brush to use with the cream foundation and it’s fantastic! It’s only $3!

Wrote my first entry in my new journal today! Isn’t this a beauty? I’ve had my eye on it for over a year now and I finally broke down and bought it last weekend. Since it’s real leather and hand crafted, it was a little more expensive than what I would usually pay for a journal but since I couldn’t get it out of my mind for a whole year, I figured it was worth it. Also, I think the first journal entry certainly counts as a #beginning for the #bloggingonmyownterms challenge, don’t you? And it also works for the “warm” prompt for the #fmsphotoaday challenge.

Duchessa Music Notes Italian Printed Leather Journal – I had my eye on this journal for over a year and couldn’t get it out of my head. So I finally broke down and bought it last month even though it was pretty pricey. I LOVE it!

Dancing Through Life – I started reading Candace Cameron Bure’s latest book this week and I’m loving it! I’ve always admired her and I love Dancing With the Stars. So I’m really enjoying reading through her experiences behind the scenes and how she handled persecution and stuck to her convictions.

Nail-Aid 3 Minute Artificials and Gel Xtreme Shine – Last week Helene wrote a post about these nail polishes and how to get a gel manicure at home. I bought them and tried them and sure enough, it’s like gel! My nails are hard and the polish isn’t chipped!

So what things have you loved this week?
Thanks for reading!
