Starting a couple weeks ago (when I posted about my week from You-Know-Where), I decided to challenge myself to have a positive attitude about life and to stop complaining so much. You know, most of the stuff I worry about or get down in the dumps about just really doesn’t matter all that much. I won’t say I’ve been completely succeeding in this area, but I have been better just because I’ve made a conscious effort. There have been times when I find myself dwelling on the negative and it shows in how I treat others (especially the hubby). If I see it happening, I stop and focus on something good.
Anyway, what are the odds that while I’m trying to make this transformation in my life, the one and only Taylor Swift releases the absolutely perfect song for the situation? Actually, we are talking about T-Swizz here so the odds are probably pretty good. But I thought it was pretty cool regardless.

Isn’t it great?? So catchy and sends an empowering message. I want to “shake it off” like Taylor does. I want to know I’m awesome no matter what the haters say. I want to fake it till I make it and when I do make it I want it to truly be shaken off. I want to be positive and smile all the time and try to encourage others by doing as I go because really, there is so much better stuff to be doing with my time that worrying about stupid, little things!
