I Have a Pretty Great Life

I Have a Pretty Great Life

This week started off not so fun but it ended pretty great. I fought a cold all weekend. Then, when I got better, we entered Polar Vortex 2.0. But I still have a pretty good life, you know? A wonderful husband, a great home and tons of friends and family that love me. I don’t have much to complain about. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Lets get to this week’s re-cap count down!

5 things I’ve loved this week

  1. My Broadway playlist on Spotify
  2. Simply Orange juice. Since I was sick this week, I got some orange juice to boost my vitamin D and this stuff is delicious! I pretty much drank it all before I could take a picture.
  3. My owl toboggan. A friend gave it to me a few years ago, but I rediscovered it this week.
  4. My other new UGA T-Shirt that I got with the rest of my birthday Amazon gift card. (see the first one from last week here)
  5. The 2 hour season finale of Sleepy Hollow on Monday! That was intense and may have made up for the rest of the mediocre season!

4 blog posts/articles I’ve loved this week

  1. Pinterest is the New Black {via Venus Trapped in Mars} Sarah shares some tips about making your blog Pin-friendly
  2. Zero is NOT a Size {via Simply Clarke} Marquis talks about how we are all different and we should find our identity in Christ, not clothing size.
  3. If You Only Read One Thing Today, Read This {via funclypickens.com} If you read this one, be sure to have tissues nearby.
  4. An Honest Look at Life after Baby {via Wifessionals} I admire Kaitlyn’s honesty and ability to warn me of all the changes yet make me want to have a baby one day anyway.

3 confessions

  1. I am really behind in my Bible reading and it’s only January
  2. I failed at eating well and working out this week
  3. I’ve had some interesting dreams this week that include celebrities {both real celebrities and blogger celebrities}

1 reason to celebrate

I'm a millennial wife and fur-mom living in Oregon. I'm passionate about marriages and making them last. I believe it's possible to build a marriage that will endure whatever comes your way and all it takes is a little work. And trust me, your marriage is so worth that effort!
