Happy Friday everyone! We made it! So, I kinda got the idea for this post from Lisa @ Two Martinis and Elizabeth @ Life in Cadence, but I didn’t copy exactly. I made it my own and it was actually pretty fun to write. I might start doing it every Friday. Or most Fridays. But don’t quote me on that. Anyway, here’s how my week has gone….
Table of Contents
5 things I’m loving this week
- Downton Abbey! I have been waiting patiently for a very long time for season 4 and it is finally airing in the US!
- Special K cereal. It’s been my breakfast all week.
- Folgers Gourmet Vanilla Biscotti coffee. It is so good. (which is sorta a problem for my “resolution” to eat healthier)
- Awards Show Season. I love awards shows. I love keeping up with the nominees and winners. I love the red carpet fashion and the awkward acceptance speeches. It’s great!
- The new UGA t-shirt I purchased with (part of) the Amazon gift card that the in-laws gave me for my birthday. It has a cute vintage look and it is so soft!
4 blog posts/articles I loved this week
- How do you handle being a wife when your husband disappoints you? (Quiet Magazine) My bloggy friend, Rachel wrote this article and I think it hits the nail on the head about loving your husband even when he’s not lovable. It is a great reminder that marriage isn’t always fun and perfect and she gives some helpful tips for how to handle that.
- Operation Beautiful (Whispering Sweet Nothings) Every week, Shane will share some bloggers’ take on the simple things that make them beautiful. I love the idea and have signed up to be one of those featured bloggers!
- Loving When it Matters Most (Life According to Kenz) A beautiful post about loving unconditionally as Christ did and still does.
- I’m quite sure this is NOT a gluten allergy (Two Martinis) I had to include a funny one. Lisa rants about how there is no way women can go a whole pregnancy without knowing they are pregnant! P.S. Yay, Lisa’s pregnant!
3 things I’m looking forward to
- I’m hosting a Premier Designs Jewelry party tonight!
- My book club is meeting tomorrow to discuss the entire Divergent series! I can’t wait!
- We have our monthly Sing Night tomorrow night. The college and young adults group from church all go over to someone’s house and sing praises all night. It’s always a fun and uplifting time!
