This week for Thankful Thursday, I am thankful for…
My Job
I work for M3 Accounting Services which makes accounting software for hotels. I work in the QA department testing the software.
I really do love my job. This week I was put on a new exciting project that I hadn’t worked on before. This made me think about my job and how blessed I am.
I am blessed first of all to have a job. I know so many people who are out of work. I got this job right out of college with connections through the Church and I am so blessed to have it. I was able to save a lot of money while living with my parents while Pearson was still at Harding and now that we are married we live comfortably with no financial worries. I am so thankful for this because I know what worries and problems money (or the lack there of) can cause.
I am blessed to be surrounded in this job by good people. The president (along with a few other employees) goes to church with my parents. Everyone I work with is so nice, smart and positive.
I am so blessed that the company wanted to keep me when we moved to Ohio. This meant that I didn’t have to find a new job while trying to get married and move across the country. I didn’t have to start fresh with new faces at work while having new faces everywhere else. And as an added bonus, I get to work from home. I am spoiled. I never have to go out in the snow if I don’t want to and I can work in my pajamas. And best of all, this meant that the company thought I was valuable enough to go through the hassle of my working from hundreds of miles away.
I am very thankful for all the blessings that having a job brings, and am especially thankful that job is with M3.
