I know there are many variations of “DIY Fall Wreaths” out there in the internet world. Especially on Pinterest. But I am going to show you how I did my fall monogram wreath. Take it or leave it. It was pretty simple and I love how it turned out!

Here’s how I made my monogram wreath:
The first thing I did was the wrap the burlap around the wreath. I wanted to have some of the grapevine showing so I didn’t wrap it all the way next to itself. Does that make sense at all? This actually turned out to be kinda tricky because the burlap kept getting stuck on the wreath. I tied the two ends together into a bow on top.
Next I cut the flower stems off. Well, I say cut. Really, I made a dent with the scissors then tore it off with my hands. I had to bend it back and forth and twist it. Apparently I don’t own any wire cutters.
I just stuck the flowers through the burlap and into the gapevine wreath. Then I turned the wreath over and bent the ends of the stems and stuck them back into the wreath to hold them in place. No gluing.
After much debating with myself, I finally decided to wrap the ‘M’ in my cute fall ribbon instead of painting it. I wrapped each side, one at a time, and then the middle V section. Using hot glue, I glued down one end of the ribbon and wrapped as well as I could adding a little glue here and there to the back of the ‘M’.
I cut a strip of the burlap in half longways to tie the ‘M’ to the wreath so that it would hang in the middle.
And here is the finished product! I love it!
Oh! And I didn’t glue anything except the ribbon around the ‘M’. So I could take it all off and change it to match different seasons. We will see if this happens.
