Since it is Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be appropriate to try to express, on this Thankful Thursday, how thankful I am for…
Alright, time to brag… 😀
I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who loves me no matter what. When I am moody. When I am upset. When I feel whimsical. When I am being difficult or impossible. When I am late. When I am determined. When I am angry. He loves me always. I cannot express how thankful I am for that.
I am so blessed that God gave me such a Godly man. Pearson loves God more than he loves me (which is good). He seeks every day to serve Our Lord. He is a spiritual leader in our relationship. He makes church, reading the Bible, and praying a priority.
I am so blessed to have a supportive husband. He takes all my crazy ideas and aspirations in stride. He never puts me or my thoughts down no matter how ridiculous they are. He is always on my side.
I am so blessed to have a brilliant yet humble husband. He is so smart. He is in school for a PhD in Biophysics! But he doesn’t think he is that smart. He just thinks this is normal. Or he at least thinks he is at the same level as other people in his position, but he can talk circles around them about this science stuff.
I am so blessed to have a passionate husband. He loves what he does and he doesn’t do anything halfheartedly. That is so attractive to me. He pours his heart and soul into everything from science, to our relationship.
I am so blessed to have a husband who truly cares about me. He is always asking how my day was or if I slept well. He asks these things because he really wants to know. He also is always wanting to do things for me because he is such a gentleman. He is so thoughtful.
I am so blessed to have an appreciative husband. He tells me often that he loves our home and how I have set it up. He compliments my cooking (even when it isn’t very good). He thanks me for working hard every day while he is in school.
I am so blessed to have a husband who loves his family. Especially his brothers and sister. This tells me how great of a father he will be some day. He also loves my family like his own. This makes me fall in love with him all over again.
Sorry if this post was too sappy for you, but I can’t help it. Sometimes you just have to brag, you know?
I wish everyone a happy Valentine’s Day whether you spend it with a significant other or with people who love you in other ways. And remember to always be thankful for the people you do have in your life.
Thanks for reading!
