I have been ‘home’ all week in Buford, GA. I came for work, but there are always a few more benefits to coming home; mom’s cooking (and my not having to cook), seeing my family, cuddling with my doggies, and driving a nice rental car, just to name a few. One of my favorite things about coming home is my church family. I really feel like no matter how long I am away, I can walk in the doors of the Buford Church of Christ building and be bombarded with hugs. They really are my family. I know they all pray for me and Pearson: for our marriage, our life, our safety and our happiness. I know these people truly are happy to see me when I come home. We had a gospel meeting this week so I was at church Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I cannot describe how great it feels to have people get so excited to see me all week! My hugging arms are tired and my cheeks hurt from smiling but in the best way possible. My heart is happy and my cup overflows. So this week I thank God for my wonderful family I will always have at Buford Church of Christ.
