I am very thankful that I have friends from my past that are still my friends. I have friends from my youth group growing up. I have friends from my college days. I have friends from our time here in Ohio. I have friends from all of these stages of life that are still some of my best friends. I can call them up [or Skype with them, as it were] and the conversation picks up like there was no break and we aren’t living like 500+ miles away from each other. I have friends from all stages of life who, if called upon, would support me and hold me up if I need it. They know me, they love me, and they support me. Even with lots of space and time separating us. That is what I am thankful for today: long lasting friendships. They are such a blessing!
