Thankful Thursday: A Washer and Dryer in my Apartemnt

Today for Thankful Thursday I am thankful for…

A Washer and Dryer in my Apartment

I am so over going to the laundromat to do laundry. Or even down the hall in my dorm. Aren’t you? When Pearson and I were looking for an apartment, having a washer and dryer in the unit was a big factor. In college I would go as long as possible without doing laundry and then do 4 loads at once because I had to walk to the laundromat. Well, I actually still do that. I guess old habits die hard. But the good thing is that now I don’t have to go anywhere to do the laundry. So I can throw another load in real fast throughout the day while working or cleaning or watching TV. No more trying to get some homework done in the crowded, hot laundromat because I am terrified of leaving my clothes unattended. [yes I have had some items stolen out of the dryer before-at a Christian college-so sad]. Also, no more scrambling around trying to come up with $4.00 in quarters. Praise! I just walk down the hall, pop the clothes in, and go back to the couch. It is a blessing! [I know, I am probably lame for being so excited about this.]
So this week, I am thankful for a washer and dryer in my apartment. This was laundry week on our home, if you couldn’t tell.
