Thankful Thursday Party – February {link up}

Y’all… It’s cold here, but I don’t think that’s a secret. I am so tired of the snow and the below zero temperatures. Spring can not get here fast enough. But I’m trying to look on the bright side. This could be so much worse because, you know what? I have an apartment and heat. I have a warm bed. And I don’t have to leave my home to go to work.
I am oh so thankful for these things. I have a home. I have shelter when some people don’t. I couldn’t be more thankful for that right now. Sometimes I complain about the cold. Sometimes I really wish I still lived in the south (though they’re getting it pretty bad right now too). And I’m starting to get cabin fever. I get annoyed that I have to bundle up every time I have to take Pip on a walk.
But I am so glad we live in an apartment. I am thankful for our heat and our warm bed and that I can stay in the apartment safe from the weather. Now I just need to remember this when I get cranky because of the cold and snow!
