Favorite College Memories

Happy Friday! Pearson and I are currently on our way to Arkansas for my brother’s graduation. I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic about this trip. Especially after yesterday’s post. So I thought I would share some of my favorite college memories. I wanted to use this for the Five on Friday/Oh Hey Friday/High Five Friday link ups but I couldn’t keep it to just five… Oh well.

ONE: Spring Sing
Freshman year, Pearson and I both did Spring Sing with the Chi Omega Pi and Delta Gamma Rho. It was very stressful and frustrating to go to all the practices but miracle week made it all worth it. I made some great friends and ended up pledging ChiO’s the next year!

TWO: Club Week (formerly known as Pledge Week)
I pledged Chi Omega Pi and it was probably the hardest and yet most fun week of my life!
THREE: Hiking
We went hiking with friends on multiple occasions. Some of our favorite spots were Sugar Loaf, Pinnacle, Petit Jean, and Buffalo River.
FOUR: Broomball and Other Club Functions
I loved all of our Chio’s and Box functions. I love dressing in character and just being goofy.
FIVE: Formals
Formals were always fun. I miss getting all dressed up and fancy for a night with my love and friends!
SIX: Ultimate Frisbee Tournaments
I played on Harding’s Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team and we traveled around playing in tournaments. We mostly only went to Tennessee and Missouri and we stayed in Church buildings. It was so much fun!
SEVEN: Spring Break Mission Trip
Pearson and I went with a group to Manchester, NH for a missing trip during spring break of our sophomore year. It was also a lot of fun!
EIGHT: Trip to Chicago for Living World Religions
I took a Living World Religions class with Dr. Montey Cox and we took a weekend trip to Chicago to visit some places of worship for some of the religions we had learned about.
What are some of your favorite memories from college?
