Being Thankful and Intentional – Marriage & Relationship Goals {Link Up]

Happy November! It’s a month of Thankfulness, family, football, and dropping temperatures! Today happens to be the first Monday of the month which means it’s time for the Marriage and Relationship Goals linkup!

Last month I set the goal of being together one night per week without technology. Well, it didn’t exactly happen. But that’s okay because Pearson worked SO MUCH this month. We did get to spend some time together here and there, but we were usually watching our TV shows or Halloween movies. So that time wasn’t completely technology free. But that’s okay too because when Pearson finally gets home from work or he finally has a free Saturday (He actually had one this weekend!) he just wants to stay home and veg. And I don’t blame him!

Anyway this month I have two goals:
1. Be thankful for my husband
2. Be intentional about quality time

Like I said, November is a month of thanks. (Side Note: Brita and I are hosting the Thankful Thursday Party EVERY Thursday this month and we’d love for you to join us!) So I am going to be thankful for my husband this month. No taking him for granted! What does that look like? Well, I plan to keep a running list of things I’m thankful for about him. I’m also going to find something to thank him for, out loud, every day. If I get mad at him, I’m going to look at the list and remember why he’s so great.

Secondly, this month is going to be a busy one for us. Pearson is going to a conference in a couple weekends and we will be traveling for Thanksgiving. Not to mention, we’ll be preparing for our vacation and Pearson, I’m sure, will have an even crazier work schedule than usual leading up to his conference. All this to say, we will have to be very intentional about quality time. There are still some dates from my Fall Date Ideas list that I want to get to this month.

What goal(s) do you have for your relationship this month? Be sure to link up below!
