Hello and happy Thankful Thursday! Also, I want to wish a very happy 23rd birthday to my baby brother, Tyler! How are you 23???
As I said on his birthday last year, I am so proud of my brother! I’m even prouder now because he’s a big, bad reporter for ABC News in Birmingham, Alabama! Okay so he’s not exactly a reporter yet. He’s an editor for the morning show and a field photographer for the afternoon news. He gets to interview a lot of cool people though. And he has been pretty involved with a lot of the the presidential campaign stuff going on in Alabama. It’s really pretty cool.
But this post is for Thankful Thursday, and even though I’ve written about Tyler for Thankful Thursday before, there’s no way that post covered everything. So I’m doing it again because I can!
I am so thankful for my brother because without him, life would have been pretty boring growing up.
I am thankful for him because he’s who I go to with questions about the presidential race.
I’m thankful to Tyler for always wanting to tell me good news. It makes me feel good that he finds it important to keep me in the loop of his life.
I’m thankful for his sense of humor.
I’m thankful for the “inside information” he always seems to have thanks to being involved with the news and ABC.
I’m thankful he likes a lot of the same nerdy stuff I do. It was really helpful when we were growing up and we’d play pretend as Harry Potter characters and other awesome stuff.
I’m thankful we get along so well. We always have. Of course, we fought some as children but not near as much as some siblings do.
I’m thankful that he loves his job and his new town so much that he was so excited to show Pearson and me around when we visited at Christmas.
Likewise, I’m thankful he was not only willing but also excited to host us for several days.
