Monthly Goals for January {2019} (+Resolutions)

Monthly Goals for January {2019} (+Resolutions)

Happy 2019! Can you believe it?? Each year just gets more and more unbelievable, I swear. Anyway, I debated whether I wanted to continue sharing my monthly goals on here or not, but in the end I decided I liked documenting them even if I don’t meet them all every month.

I also don’t typically love making New Years Resolutions but I decided to make a few this year. I’m ready to make some major changes but I’m going to make the changes slowly and give myself lots of grace.

And lastly, Pearson and I decided on a phrase to use as our family motto this year. Are you ready for it?

“Less Stuff, More Adventure”

What do you think? I’m super excited about it! Read more on Instagram here.

Anyway, let’s get on with today’s post, shall we? We’ll start with how I did on my December goals.

How I did in December:

Spiritual:

  • Pray more (I’m going real easy on this one)

Physical:

  • Eat intuitively.
  • Go to Barre class at least 3 times per week. (except for the week we were out of town)
  • Drink 80 ounces of water every day

Mental:

Marriage:

  • Do something Christmassy every day in December. We actually did this! I’m so proud!

Blog:

  • Finish all the tasks I need to do this month (that I don’t want to share here)

Home:

  • Sell most of the clothes in my Poshmark Closet (get 5% off with code MRSMAUGERI)

I actually accomplished more than half of my goals! That hasn’t happened in a while! Now on to my resolutions.

    1. Thanks! Yeah I’m really excited about it. And I like that it has two aspects to it. I’m going to pair down our stuff and cut way back on our buying stuff. And at the same time we’re prioritizing adventures.
