Monthly Goals for March {2019}

Monthly Goals for March {2019}

You guys! Can you believe it’s already the 3rd month of 2019? I can’t. I gotta be honest though.

March is my least favorite month of the year. I think it’s mostly because it seems like it should be spring but it still feels like winter. It snowed 2 days this week. I hate winter.

But also, March just isn’t that exciting of a month. For me at least, it seems to be the first month back to reality after the excitement of the holidays. My birthday is in January and Pearson’s is in February so we keep the celebration going until March.

But this year is going to be different! I’m ready to live intentionally and go on adventures starting with an all-day date in Portland tomorrow including the 4T Trail!

But enough of my rambling about how awesome this March is going to be. Let’s get on to my goals, shall we?

How I did in February:

Spiritual:

  • Go to our church’s Ladies Bible Study every week except when we’re in Orlando. And do the homework.
  • Attend the young marrieds class every week that we’re in town
  • Find a life group

Physical:

  • Keep up with at least 3 Barre classes per week – I did really well until I got a bicycle injury. Now I need to get back into it.
  • Take Pip on a long walk 3 times per week
  • Drink 80 oz of water per day!

Mental:

  • Finish Becoming by Michelle Obama – I was unable to finish it before it was due back at the library. Long story but I couldn’t renew it and now I have to request it.
  • Read one book by Agatha Christie
  • Complete 4 French lessons on Duolingo
  • Complete 4 German lessons on Duolingo

Marriage:

  • Go on one date per week
  • Celebrate Valentine’s Day
  • Celebrate Pearson’s Birthday
  • Do one Check-In.

Blog:

  • Figure out all the logistics of selling my ebook and have it on the market by the end of this monthIt’s technically not on the market yet but it will be by the first Monday of the month (the 4th)
  • Create an Instagram schedule
  • Create my February Freebie and send it out in a newsletter on the first Monday. (on track to happen today)
  • Keep up with the Love Blog challenges that I’m hosting!

Home:

  • Revisit my fall/winter capsule wardrobe and make sure I still love it and it’s still 35 items.

Ugh I am so tired of failing so badly. This month is going to be better. This month I’m buckling down! We aren’t traveling this month, I’m not doing a blog challenge, the weather will be nicer, I’m ready for it!

  1. It’s not failing if you don’t check everything off the list! Did you drink some water every day? Did you spend time reading this month? Progress over perfection! Following through on the intentions for self-improvement is more important than getting every single goal done.

    My goals post goes up tomorrow, and some of what I did check off technically didn’t get done until yesterday… Which was March 2, not February. But I got stuff done, so it counts.

    P.S. I can help you with one March goal. I’ve actually been meaning to email you and Alessia about an affiliate opportunity, so look for that!
