Our 2020 Date Night Bucket List

Our 2020 Date Night Bucket List

Happy New Year (a few days late)! It’s 2020! That means it’s time for another Date Night Bucket List! Last year we only did 4 out of the 10 items on our list. But we ended up doing a ton of other fun things that weren’t on our bucket list. So I’ve included all the things we didn’t do last year and added a few more for 2020.

Also, you can see all of our past date night bucket lists below!

175 best date ideas

ONE || Visit Disneyland

We traveled to Walt Disney World in both January 2018 and January 2019. For my 30th birthday in two days, we’re going to Disneyland for the first time ever! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it. Unfortunately, this will probably be our last Disney trip for a while.

TWO || Go to a Hops Game

The Hillsboro Hops play right down the street from us. They’re a minor league baseball team. I can’t believe we haven’t seen a game yet since I grew up on baseball. Hopefully we will this year!

THREE || Visit Mount Hood and Hike around Trillium Lake

We finally got up close and personal with Mount Hood a couple times in 2019. But we still haven’t hiked to/around Trillium Lake. Soon.

FOUR || Go Snowshoeing and Skiing

Despite not being a fan of cold weather, I’m actually really excited for this one. After living in Ohio for 5.5 years, I learned how to layer properly and I obtained some snow gear. Now I’m ready to enjoy winter sports!

FIVE || Visit Bend again

We went to Bend, Oregon for our anniversary in 2018 and had a blast! We wanted to go back last year and do some more outdoorsy stuff but never got around to it. We’re gonna try to make it happen this year!

SIX || Attend an OMSI After Dark Event

OMSI or the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is a science museum in Portland. While they cater a lot to children, they often have great exhibits for adults as well as adults only events!

SEVEN || Get all the stamps in our McMenamins Passports

As I explained in my 2019 Date Night Bucket list, McMinamins is a really cool entertainment chain that started in Portland. They now have locations all around the PNW. We got McMenamins Passports a couple years ago so now we have an excuse to visit all the locations. We are collecting stamps and awesome prizes along the way!

EIGHT || Visit the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals

This is a fun museum just down the street from us! It’s basically in somebody’s house as far as I can tell, but we’ve heard that it is actually a lot of fun.

NINE || Hike Saddle Mountain

This is one of the more strenuous hikes on our list so we’ve been waiting to do it once we’re in pretty good shape. And once we have a few other hikes under our belt. I think this will be the year!

TEN || See the Braves play in Seattle

The Atlanta Braves will play the Mariners in Seattle in May and I do not want to miss this opportunity!

  1. I love your list! I hope you make it to Disney. We go to Disney World in June, only I’m leaving my husband because he doesn’t “get it” there. Too crowded for him.

  2. What a great list! My husband, and I will be celebrating out 17th wedding anniversary this month, so maybe we’ll add one of these in as a date night. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

  3. I think it’s so much fun that y’all make a bucket list to complete together every year. That’s such a great idea! I’ve never been to Disneyland, and that sounds like an incredible way to celebrate your 30th birthday! I went to Washington, D.C. for my 30th birthday, and I had so much fun.

    1. Lol I’m happily married too. In fact, this is a marriage blog. I write all about marriage with tips and advice. And I especially enjoy writing about how important it is to continually date your spouse. That’s what this post is really about. My husband and I make a bucket list of dates we want to go on every year!
